Legendary Surf Spots Around Taghazout
Anchor Point
Taghazout's crown jewel and one of Africa's most famous right-hand point breaks. On good days, this world-class wave offers rides of 300+ meters with multiple barrel sections. Best for intermediate to advanced surfers.
Hash Point
A mellow, forgiving point break in the heart of Taghazout village. Ideal for intermediates developing consistency, with long rides in clean swell windows and a lively beachside atmosphere.
Panorama Beach
A spacious beach break with sandy bottom and gentle waves, perfect for beginners and surf lessons. Consistent whitewash provides ideal conditions for learning fundamentals in a safe environment.
Killer Point
Named after the killer whales once spotted here, this powerful right-hander offers fast, hollow sections and long rides. Works best on bigger swells — a real challenge for advanced riders.
Devil's Rock
Located in neighboring Tamraght, this consistent beach break offers both left and right peaks for all levels. Sandy bottom is forgiving for beginners while the shaped waves are fun for more experienced surfers.
Imsouane Bay
A short drive from Taghazout, this magical bay offers one of the longest rides in Morocco. The gentle, peeling right-hander is perfect for longboarders and intermediates, with rides lasting up to 600 meters.
