The camel ride at the Small Sahara of Rsmouka is optional and available for an additional 100–150 MAD per person (approximately €10–15), paid directly on the day. You can decide when you're there — there's no pressure and it suits most people who try it. Highly recommended.

Comfortable clothing appropriate to the season, closed walking shoes, a hat, and sunglasses. In winter (November–February) bring a light jacket as desert temperatures drop noticeably in the late afternoon. Avoid sandals or flip flops for the desert sections.
Yes. The 4WD Sahara Day Trip is available as an add-on to any surf camp package for €40 per person. It's also included as a full-day expedition in our 6 Day Surf & Sahara package and 4 Day Surf, Sahara & Quad package. Just add it when booking your surf camp.
About 8 to 9 hours: pickup from Taghazout starts at 8:00 and you are back around 17:00. The €40 price includes the 4WD, a licensed driver-guide and a Berber lunch; the camel ride at Rsmouka is optional. The trip is also included in the surf and Sahara package. The flamingos live in Souss-Massa National Park.
