Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need any previous surfing experience?

No. Our surf camp is designed for all levels — from complete beginners to experienced surfers. Instructors assess your level on arrival and place you in the appropriate class so you get the right challenge and coaching.

What should I bring with me?

Bring: swimwear (to wear under your wetsuit), towel, sunscreen, refillable water bottle, light snacks or lunch if you prefer. Don’t worry: all surf equipment is provided with most day packages. If you bring your own board, our staff will help check the leash and setup.

Is there an age limit for participants?

Standard group sessions: suitable for ages 12+. We also run family sessions and kids’ classes for younger children — please contact us to arrange an age-appropriate session and to confirm guardian requirements.

What if the weather or surf conditions are poor?

Taghazout enjoys a consistent season, but conditions can vary. If conditions are unsuitable we offer alternatives such as surf theory workshops, balance and board drills, or reschedule your session when possible. Check our booking terms for reschedule and cancellation rules — we aim to keep your experience safe and productive.

Can I book accommodation through you as well?

Yes — while standard day packages typically do not include rooms, we partner with local guesthouses and hotels and can arrange combined accommodation + surf packages on request. Contact us to get options, room types, meal arrangements, and package pricing tailored to your dates and needs.

How do I book or change a booking?

To book, use the availability button or email our reservations team. For changes or cancellations, check your confirmation for the policy and contact us as soon as possible — we’ll do our best to reschedule you to another day or transfer your booking to a different package when space permits.
